Toxic Are The Next Evolution
@ Scene news channel

It came as somewhat of a surprise when it was announced that Fragmasters would discontinue their support for the former Toxic side, however as the reasons became known the decision became understandable.

Despite their lengthy summer vacation away from the game, a new organisation going by the name of Next Evolution has agreed to support the team for the coming months. This new mysterious organisation seems to have came from nowhere and since it's founding has acquired both of the former fnatic Quake Live players as well as the former Power Gaming Call of Duty 4 squad, meaning that that they likely have something worthwhile on offer. They have also made it known on their website that they will be sending the new team to Multiplay's i44 towards the end of the year, as well as further European events that are yet to be announced. The team will hope to triumph and take the gold at their next visit to the iSeries as they did at the last event with a healthy win over favorites, Epsilon. Unfortunately the team will not be seen at the upcoming events due to commitments outside of the game.

Next Evolution are still yet to find a fifth player due to the departure of Danish sensation Kevin "kev1n" Hansen, however with nothing but time on their hands it is doubtful that the team will rush into any decisions, ensuring that they get the perfect fit for the team.

Richard "ritch" Gibbs said the following on their website:

After a period of time being removed from Fragmasters we have found an organisation that is willing to work alongside us. Obviously we only have four players right now but we are using this time to find the correct 5th for our team and not rushing anything. We've been playing on and off with a few people and until we get the correct player we will not be announcing anything. It is important for us that we do this once and once only. Our first event will most likely be i44 unless anything else gets announced but we are playing with potential new fifths when we can. It's good to have a home, especially one such as Nevo who boast many top teams in many areas. I thank Fragmasters for my time there but now is a new chapter in our CS:S careers! See you at i44!
