Coinciding with their promotion to lower the cost of purchasing Heroes of Newerth to just $10, Heaven Media and SteelSeries have all joined forces to bring a 128 team HoN tournament to E-sports Heaven.

Starting from today teams can sign up to the competition and have their chance to win their share of $2000.

In addition to the prize money SteelSeries have also provided five of their HoN edition QCK mousemats, pictured below, for each of the top three teams.

The announcement on the Esports Heaven website read:

Hello Heroes !

We are proud to announce our first Heroes of Newerth tournament on esportsheaven.net.

This is a 5on5 sponsored by SteelSeries with a prizepool of $2000 !
There are 128 teams allowed and tournament will be played over several weeks.
The tournament will start on 2nd August
There will be 2 groupstages and the top-2 advances to the 2nd round.

The head admin will be Freekje

The prizes will be divided into the following:

$1250 + 5x SteelSeries HoN Edition Mousepads
$500 + 5x SteelSeries HoN Edition Mousepads
$250 + 5x SteelSeries HoN Edition Mousepads
