Group A has drawn to a close at GameGune 2011 and there's not a great deal of surprise about the final standings, even if the Ukrainian powerhouse of Na'Vi were pushed in the two games with their fellow qualifiers.

The first shock of sorts came with Na'Vi struggling against the Brazilians of paiN, where the latter managed to take 13 rounds from Na'vi before the favourites got across the finish line.

Na'Vi also had a close encounter with Portuguese legends k1ck that saw them only win by one round. It was enough to keep them top of course but it was far from convincing, even though some suggest they were holding back their tactics for the later rounds.

All three of these teams progress to the knockout stages. Who they face will be determined later in the weekend.

The tournament so far has experienced some delays so the schedule isn't precise but Group B games are underway now, which will give everyone an opportunity to see the tournament favourites SK Gaming in action.
