About a month ago two of the former Alternate members announced that they would be stepping down from the lineup leaving spaces to be filled for the upcoming EPS season.
However instead of replacing the two vacancies, Alternate has decided to opt for an entire roster overhaul with the new roster being announced earlier today. The team now features only one member from the former team, Christian "crisby" Schmitt, meaning that two further players have been released from the team.
The first player to begin filling the void is an old face for the Alternate organisation in the form of Roman "Roman R." Reinhardt who has rejoined the organisation after being away from them for quite some time, however they have another previous member returning for the first time since his departure to Mousesports back in 2007, namely Navid "Kapio" Javadi. Alongside those two will be former Mousesports member Manuel "approx" Zeitz and previous hardware4u member Julian "hool" Walter.
The team will be participating in the upcoming season of the German ESL Pro Series. No offline events have been confirmed thus far.
Christian "crisby" Schmitt said the following on the Alternate website:
Our new team is now finalized and I am glad that we could win so many good players for our team. I think that by this team constellation, even though we are the underdog to one of the EPS title as well as in international business few can keep up. We now have three very experienced and successful players in the team who have already achieved a lot, and two young, wild and hungry players. I think we have found a good mix and are eager to get started right at last. We are also try at the start of the season to put in a boot camp, durchzustarten to directly correct. I think you will so we may soon see in our webcam Lanhaus.
