Bit of a banter more than anything really about the CGS, supposed to be in the next 10 days but unfortunatel put off until a later date. Im hoping redeye, Odee, ben from 4kings etc are going to read this blog and maybe give some input.

Here is what I think of the CGS, whos going to be the GM's and whos going to get drafted and why.

4kings (HenryG, url, jonoo, hughsy, 5th yet to be declared)

- I believe 4k have a guaranteed spot, whether they get hammered at the combine or not, there LAN results and the fact they have some of the biggest names in UK speaks for itself, not doing as good as they've hoped on the european scene but being consistently there and playing with the best teams and showing europe that the UK has infact got talent. Also (imo) Ben from 4kings will be one of the GM's, he has been a manager in 4kings for a while now and really does have a good insight into the UK and european css scene, not to mention bags of experience with one of the best orginisations in the world. I also believe they would be a good contender against some of the top european and american teams. HenryG is a usual feature on the gotfrag website and coming from an orginisation with as much flare as 4kings i think they'd easily fit the CGS theme.

Team Ebuyer (ins, tom, kird, fraz, rossar)

- Coming back from a poor i31 performance but with previous good performances in i30 and more noteably winning the ebuyer LAN competition, not to mention still maintaining there core 5 that they have had for last 12 months+ maybe not the best team in the UK but certainly a consistent force with big personalities and coming from a good name

Dignitas (1.6) (ady, harriman, rattlesnake, reality, mangiacapra)

- Definately a team of hopeful players but haven't really shown they can do much on source yet, maybe we could see a similar decision that recently happened over in America, where a GM was biased towards a 1.6 orginisation and chose them over some top source teams. I believe they have a good chance of getting drafted mainly down to the fact that I believe Odee of dignitas will be one of the GM's and therefore would pick his own team, however biased a decision it could be. I think they will be out to prove to a lot of people what they are made of in the combine, could definately make them or break them as if they were go get beaten by one of the lesser known teams, could cause a dilemma for Odee as his decision to pick them could be seen as biased.

Edge Gaming (ewaf, jonte, silly, goose, desu)

- Not the most known team in the UK but been together a long time, had some good results recently but not the best of LAN's at i31. Personally I dont think they are capable of competing with the top euro teams at the moment but only time and practice will tell.

Zboard (ben0, jafro, fatal, tils, ritch)

- Yes, its the team I play for and im going to be as unbiased as possible, lots of roster changes recently, only keeping beno, myself and fatal in the core 3 and then recently adding Tils after the departure of phx and last minute addition of ritch from 4kings wen our 5th was unable to attend i31. Had a decent LAN but a team surrounded by controversy (redeye telling HenryG that "no cgs team would touch ritch") quite disapointing really as im sure this would not of been the case if he were still at 4kings/hos PC had not got abused at i31 (haha) Do i think we can get drafted? on skill, without a doubt but on who we have in our team, id have to say i cant see it happening.

Myski (nazer, wombat, jai, lib, rem7)

- Coming back from i31 with not the best of placings but managing to take 11 rounds off the mighty 4kings at LAN and proving that they are not "onliners" a possibility to take a CGS spot. I personally believe CGS is about personalitys aswell as skill, myski have some really nice guys in there team, preserved and avoid confrontation online but not the most known team which could affect them. I think with the loss of one of there stronger players (Techno) this could affect them in a big way, but no player is irreplacable so maybe we'll see some other big names show up on the roster.

I realise i've missed some players on the roster list, im not entirely sure of who is playing for who.
