That's right, Cadred.org can exclusively reveal to you that Lan79 is returning for 2008!
La Victoire est en Nous (The Victory in Us) is pulling back the covers to present to you the 4th edition of the LAN79! Indeed, we will see the return of Counter-Strike: Source and Pro Evolution Soccer 6 players, as LAN79 will unfold itself, yet again, in the Bocapôle, located in the city of Bressuire.
Lan79 will be held for the 3rd and the 4th of May, 2008 (with arrivals on the 2nd), so make sure you remember to clear that time in your diaries!.

We spoke exclusively to Emmanuel Cotilleau, about this announcement!
Cadred.org: Hi Emmanuel, could you quickly introduce yourself, and explain what exactly you do within La Victoire est en Nous?
Hi, my name is Emmanuel “Manu(G.O)” Cotilleau, I’m 26 years old, and I manage a computer shop. I am also the president of "La Victoire est en Nous" (The Victory in Us), and founder of Lan79. My hobbies are soccer, computers, and everything regarding e-sport. Oh, and in September, I'm taking English classes!
Cadred.org: So despite having a full-time job, a wife and 2 children, you are, in your own words, "going back to school" just to make Lan79 even better? But then. needing commitment to make a lan a success won't be anything new for you - how long have you already spent planning this next lan?
Well we have already been working on it for just over two months, so we'll pretty much have spent a whole year planning it, by the time the event happens. Last weekend I had all the staff round to my house for a BBQ, which is when we finalised the dates for the event.
Cadred.org: A whole year's preparation, I think we'll all be expecting something special Manu ;) Can you give us any sneak previews of what might be new to this event, or what you are hoping to improve?
Well sure, Corin. First, we will be keeping the same staff for the CSS tournament, so you can expect that to be run to the usual high standards.
We will also be changing our server provider this year, to bring you better quality game-servers at the event, as previous partners were clearly not serious enough about what we needed.
We are calling this lan79 event Gold Edition. This is because we will be keeping it at 64 teams, and we shall be ensuring that the prize money is at least as big as last year, but we shall be working to ensure the overall quality of the event is an even higher standard than before!
To this effect, we will be listening to team's feedback to improve this event, so feel free to send your thoughts to contact@lan79.com, or add my to MSN Messenger - my address is manumaison@hotmail.com.
Cadred.org: All sounds great! Finally, can you tell us when more information will be released, and when sign-ups will open?
Signups should be opening around December, though exact date is "to be confirmed".
I'm not sure exactly when more information will be released Corin, but you'll be the first to know when we do!
Cadred.org: Ok, well thanks for talking to me Manu, I'm sure I'll be hearing from you soon.
Nice talking to you, I hope to see you at Lan79!
