After finding out their fates just a couple of weeks ago the contestants of the second Alienware Backpacking Challenge have been thrown straight into it, with their first challenge taking place over the weekend.

The four lucky back-packers were tasked with creating a promotional video on the city of London, the place their adventure would begin. All four entries have been submitted and the polls are now open, so get voting on who you think should be the winner of the first weekly challenge - remember that the winners will receive extra finances to help them on their quest around Europe whilst the losers will be left with just a basic budget.

This of course means that the details of the second weekly challenge have been released. The following information has been published on the Backpacking Challenge website:

Now settled into their backpacking adventures and in various locations around Europe, Week 2 sees our contestants tasked with a musical challenge. The challenge is to find, film AND interview a musical performer/s. The performance can be of any nature, whether it be a live band at a concert, a DJ in a club or a performance on the streets. The performance can be in part or full but must include an interview to talk about the performers musical background and inspirations.

So our contestants need to go out and find something musical that can inspire people, that has inspired them or that appeals to them in one way or the other. Report about it and let us know, bonus points can be earned for participation in the musical performance.
