Edge of Gaming are one of the UK's best teams, recently winning a CGS qualifier, and now finishing 5/6th here, I catch up with them.Hello Edge, can you introduce youself to the readers

Edge: Hello, we are Edge of Gaming, this is our first LAN under the Edge name, and with our new lineup, which consists of:

sillyone
jonte
ewaf
knubbers
goose
desu

We just finished 5/6th place, losing to a strong Infused Gaming on inferno.

Are you happy with this placing?

sillyone It's our seed so yes, considering last time we placed 16-12.

jonte Yes we are pleased, but dissapointed; we think we could have done better.

You had three 16-14 wins, pardon the pun but how did it feel leaving every game on the edge?

desu It was intentional, we like to please the crowds. goose It makes us more spectator friendly smileyface

What was your hardest game of the tournament?

jonte I'd say infusedGaming, they had the map locked down, they're obviously strong on the map, because they beat ebuyer earlier. We felt shaky on it since the other game we lost was also on inferno.

You brought a 6 man roster with you, what advantages and disadvantages has this given you, how did you choose who missed out which games?

jonte The obvious disadvantage is as the competition progresses, everyone wants to play in the big games, especially goose.

knubbers Some people feel more comfortable on different maps which helps.

What difficulties have you had at the lan?

ewaf My PSU blew up, but I managed to dive out the way taking only a bit of shrapnel in the leg. It took us 5 hours to find a new one, cutting it fine as we only finished installing it 5 minutes before the game.

goose I've had the lack of sleep as usual, the heat, and major arm pains.

jonte Joking aside we've been focusing heavily on CGS rules recently, and we believe its made us more impatient at MR15, we kept pushing needlessly and got picked by the better teams. knubbers Waking up to find my mouse and mousemat covered in Colgate toothpaste™.

How much attention will you now be focusing on the CGS combine, and which team will you be taking?

desu As much as possible, it will be our main focus. The lineup will be: Jonte, Ewaf, Goose, myself, and our newpickup feralspirit.

Excluding the obvious question of who will come first, who do you think will be in the final?

sillyone I think it will be infused or 4kings, against fnatic.

goose I think its definitely fnatic and between 4kings and infused.

jonte I think infused will beat zboard, judging on their previous performances.

What's been your highlight of the LAN?

sillyone Coming fifth/sixth at my first lan.

goose Beating everyone at DoA4, and the team atmosphere.

Desu Hearing everyone saying oh my god wheres his keyboard, (it was on my lap)
