I've been told you have a background in formula racing, tell me more.

I raced formula go-karts when I was young, although it was done on the cheap with a friend of mine and I also raced some formula fords, a series called the Formula Palmer Audi and a one off Formula 3 race (class B). I wouldn’t say I was particularly successful and I was forever scrabbling around for money for my next adrenaline fix, via the race cars, but ultimately it got too expensive without sponsors and I was not nearly talented enough to attract them from my race speed, so it was something that I had to give up. That said, I have always been a motor racing fan anyway and I get a lot of enjoyment from watching motor sports as well as racing when I can. I wanted to go out while we were in LA and find a decent kart circuit to race the PGR guys on, but sadly we didn't find the time or the track, perhaps in November we will.
