General info

After announcing the upcoming Swedish lan event called Dataparty has been canceled due to lack of payments as only two of 19 international Call of Duty 2 clans had payed their tickets, the organisers are now hosting another CODQCUP eventhough the previous one meant to be the last one before Dataparty and Wonderbase. This one is titled as "Mini-CODQCUP" or "Wonderbase-CODQCUP" because its mainly for the clans that are attending the very same event during the 31st August to 2nd September in Borås, Sweden and there are 5 tickets to Wonderbase up for grabs.

This installment will include a 24 clan Group stage following with Double elimination playoffs for 8 clans. Clans will have until Sunday to sign up to the tournament and the teamlist won't be public until the amount reaches 24 clans. The tournament itself will start on Tuesday 14th at 19:00 CET and TGBF will be broadcasting two to three matches on 15th and 16th of August.

Group stage

The full teamlist got announced on Sunday after the sign up was closed (at 20.00 CET) and all 24 spots got filled six back up teams standing by. To name few top teams attending this tournament, worth mentioning are the Finnish powerhouse Logitech.fi with their Dutch rivals Serious Gaming. fukyuu, the winner of last CODQCUP, are always a team to watch while the British team of Dignitas has had rather disapointing results lately, tho they managed to win the i31 lan last weekend.
