What advantages do you think FIFA07 has as a competitive game over other sporting ones, such as Pro Evolution Soccer, or Madden NFL?

Very good question. FIFA 07 for me is a very logical and tactical challenge, more so than its rivals, and that’s why I love the game so much. It’s not just a game of football. The depth of FIFA is unreal and it takes 1000's of games to learn and respect that. I think that’s the main edge it has over Pro Evo. It takes a lot of skill to be good at Pro Evo, but because games like Pro Evo are trying to be more and more realistic, it’s taking the skill factor away and replacing it with the luck factor. All games are slowly doing this but I think the important thing for FIFA is it still has the arcade feel to it. I have always said "If you want Realism, go outside and play football".

The other main advantage is FIFA is Football (Soccer), the world’s most popular sport by a long way. Games such as Madden NFL, NBA and NHL simply don't have the worldwide popularity that FIFA does.
