And here we are. The last four and a half months of thrilling games, exciting matchups, rematches, grudgematches etc etc, we finally arrive at the deciding match: The Grand Final.

The two clans still in the competition are two of the biggest names in the business. First off, we have Team Logitech.fi, for whom this EuroCup XV Grand Final will be their last match together.

After their third place finish in the EuroCup XIII, and a fourth in EuroCup XIV, Team Logitech.fi is known to everyone as a force to be reckoned with. Most recently, we saw Team Logitech.fi take home the win at Summer Assembly LAN, a performance marking their strength and dominance in the Finnish scene.

In the EuroCup, their performance has turned quite a few heads, beating Team Ebuyer, Levitation & Four Kings in the groupstages, while losing to H2k-Gaming. In the playoffs, they got knocked into the lower bracket by Wizards, who they faced again in Lower Bracket Round 3, and beat them on just two maps. Team Logitech.fi then went on to meet the surprise of the tournament, Team MGC, after who they faced H2k-Gaming once again, looking for revenge. This time, they managed to pull through and take the final spot for the Grand Final in one of the most exciting matches in CS:S history.

With 9 wins and 2 losses, Team Logitech.fi enters this Grand Final as the underdog, they need to win two maps to take home the win. They get to pick the first map, which will be announced just before the match. If the past is any indication, I expect them to choose de_contra.

Will Team Logitech.fi's last match be one for the books? They'll do anything in their power to make it so!

Their opponent is the one clan that is currently dominating the European CS:S scene; fnatic. fnatic came in third last EuroCup, and since then they have proven their worth by coming in second at i30, first at LAN79, and First at the eXperience as well. They also won the first European CGS Qualifier, and will be attending the combine, where they are tipped as a very likely draft!

In this season's EuroCup, they haven't dropped a single map, beating clans like multiGamer, H2k-Gaming, Wizards, Defeaters, ancients, Copenhagen-eSport, and winners of the second European CGS Qualifier: faculty.

fnatic needs to win only one map to take home the title. Should Team Logitech.fi win the first map, the second map will decide on a winner. Knowing fnatic, they will most likely pick de_train, a map on which they are renowned for their teamwork.

In all likelyhood, this match, along with the i31 LAN will be one of the final matches fnatic will play with this line-up, as they too have to drop an amazing player to adapt to the CGS' rules concerning age: Sandor "proph" De Munck.
