With Epic Lan six coming to an end just over a week ago, the organisers have been quick to confirm details for the CSS tournament at their next event at the end of October.
As with the last event, there will be a total of £2,000 up for grabs in the CSS tournament should the event managed to attract 20 teams. The prize pool will increase from an initial £750 as more and more teams confirm their attendance at the event. With the last event being somewhat of a success the next event is more than likely capable of attracting a larger number of competitors.
Epic Lan six saw Rasta.Xd defend their title taking the first place prize for the second tournament in a row. Behind them were Link Gaming and TP.OVH who both impressed many with their performances. The last event only saw the triggers reach a £1,500 total prize purse, so with some luck and word of mouth the next event could see the tournament reach it's maximum.
Jon Winkle, epic.LAN Managing Director, said:
After the support from the CSS community at the last two events, we’re pleased to confirm our 3rd CSS tournament at epic.SEVEN in October. We encourage everybody who has enjoyed the last two events to help spread the word so that we can continue to grow our CSS tournament and hit that top prize pot next time!
Details of the Tournament are as follows:
4-10 teams:
1st Place - 70% (£525) + 5 full epic.LAN event tickets
2nd Place - 30% (£225) + 5 epic.LAN £20 off discount vouchers
11-19 teams:
