Turtle Gaming won over 2 maps, 10-3 10-8.

Well we're finally here, the last match of the UK Counter Strike: Source CGS Online Qualifiers. mySKi battle Turtle Gaming for one of the top four seeds at the UK Combine. Turtle Gaming is composed of veterans from 1.6, where as mySKi is all source. mySKi having won the upper bracket final need only one map to take the crown. With the last match between these two decided on an overtime round, this could go either way. Some of the Turtle Gaming roster used to be in the previously qualified Polarity (we'll have more on this soon).

Hello Lib can you introduce yourself to the readers?

Hello, I'm Owain 'Lib`' Formby I'm 19, currently living at home in kent, and very happily play for mySKi.css.

Congratulations on your latest win versus Turtle Gaming, how hard was it getting here?

We’re having quiet a few close and tough games in CGS at the moment. When I signed the team up for CGS, I felt as it's the last bracket, all the good teams should be gone through to combine by now. (This isn’t the reason I signed up, we originally weren’t going to compete in cgs). however I was wrong, its been a lot of hard work and we can never find enough time to practise. So to get to ‘here’ has been pretty tough, but I’m glad we are.

How confident are you going into the finals, needing only one map to win

To be totally honest, I never like to get too confident as it leads to me being cocky in game. So I'm kind of on the fence about it. I feel we have a strong chance of winning, but Turtle Gaming are a strong team, and Harriman has taken source like a duck to water... The guy is just immense.

Its anyone's game on a possible double header of dust2, hopefully it'll be ours.

Will you be attending the UK CGS Combine regardless of the result of the finals match?

Of course we will, I mean its only the seeding. I mean only 2 teams are going to be picked, you've just got to play your heart out and perform so I don't think the small seeding difference will mean to much to us.It will all be good experience at the end of the day.

Can you introduce us to each of the members in your team and the role they play

Well, i'll start of with myself. I joined mySKi after i30, in all honestly they needed a quick fix and its turned out to be more than that. i am the alrounder of the team comfy with any weapon and generally will hold a site on my own

NaZeR - What can i say about him, I love him even when he tells me off for doing something I shouldn't have. We get on really well and often joke about with one another. It is such a pleasure to play with him.

Techno - Well another core member of the team and went missing recently for 3 weeks where we had many roster issues, however he came back and we are all gelling. Tech is a top player and uses the rifles. such a good fragger can bust in 3 kills in a couple of seconds

Jaii, our latest addition.. jaii has kind of taken the leader roll, he generally helps me get games and makes up the strats and goes through them on the server, hes really dedicated to the team which is great because he gives it his all and thats what i really like about jaii, got on well from the start

As i mentioned above, we had a few roster issue when tech left, we managed to pick up to skilled players by the name of messiah and Render, messiah is like a church mouse doesnt say a word and generally doesnt really talk out of game up untill recent, and hes really starting to gel as we keep seeing more and more of him. hes been a top player for us in CGS picking up many important frags

Render has recently been at Midlans with infused and hasnt played a CGS game for us. however he played alot before that and really picks the team up when we are down in a pcw, and a great team players.

This is where the roster starts to look rather big

Wombat recently joined us from NaZeR's and Tech's old clan, and really suprised me 5 man-ing teams all over the shop and a natural fragger which was great, he started to be a key member untill he came back from uni and lost interest in the game. but has said he'll always be there when needed which is great ot have someone so dedicated to the team.

r a h i m is a old core member, who recently AFTER exams went inactive to personally reasons, i hope hes ok and thnigs pick up for him, hes top guy and was a top player, we hope to see him about as in and out of game a good laugh
