Not only did we catch up one prior missed ties last night but we also took the unprecedented step of having some matches played a day early. Mighty fine work there by the teams involved. Of course this means we are less busy this evening and bring you two matches. The third tie would of course have been Deathrow but after two no shows and no warning we have removed them without immediate effect to be replaced be the German powerhouses of ALTERNATE aTTaX who I am pleased to welcome on board for the season. With the short notice of the upcoming tie they have been granted an reschedule for their first match against Team flatline who I understand will be quite suited by this turn of events and will nto have to use their wild card at this time. Brace yourself all who enter the wide open spaces and twisty narrow tunnels that comprise de_contra. Not a map that I nor my 1.6 brethren are overly familiar with but one which the CSS community has embraced as one of it's key maps.There should be no shortage of action this evening as we see matches decided not only on contra but also on one of my all time favourites - de_cpl_mill as the catch up games are... well...  caught up on, from last week. Four-Kings  vs Old Boys Inc Four-Kings play the second of two back to back matches here tonight after the demolition of infusedGAMING last night (sorry guys not easy to put a positive spin on that one) as they marched out 16:00 winners in a whitewash on de_cpl_mill. On this kind of form the 4K guys are going to take a hell of a lot of stopping. They don't strike me as a team who suffer from a lack of confidence at any time and that confidence will be sky high as they go into this match. Just whats needed to kick the season off. It is possible that they might not win tonight but the tie realistically is theirs to lose rather than OBI's to win. Old Boys Inc left the server with three points in their pocket last week in the opening match against neon. They now sit along with 4K on three points behind the ever impressive Team Logitech.fi CSS who played two matches last night taking the maximum six points needed for first. Both OBI and 4K need this win for twin reason, the first of which is simply not to fall behind at this early stage and the second is because winning is a habit that you want to last, it's easier to win a match when you're on a roll and bristling with confidence than to turn things around after a defeat - which on the form of the two teams going into this tie is likely to be OBI's fate this evening. I stand hopefull I'll be proved wrong and a close fought match is fought out ay 8pm. Prediction:  Four Kings [16-07] Old Boys inc. Player to watch : URL SRCtv link Place a bet Team Riot vs neon Team Riot missed out on their first week match due to roster problems (a familiar tale) and elected to use their wild card for the season. As we already know there are very close links with MTW on show here and the German fraggers will be seeking to do justice to their reputation. Being that I have nothing extra to add to my preview than last time around I'm going to cut this one short and direct you to last weeks match previews for further reading. Just to add, I'm looking forward to watching this one myself. neon as documented above lost out 16:12 to Old Boys Inc  in the season curtain raiser. Now thats only a two round swing to make the fixture a draw so it was hardly a battering, sadly though - second is nothing. So here we are with Finland vs Germany on de_contra. Neon may feel they have more to play for than their opposition be it because they are already one match gone with nothing to show for it or simply as there is such a strong Suomi contingent on show in theSGL Invite that they feel he need to keep up with their peers. Either way I'm looking forward to this one as it's two teams i haven't watched personally before.
