One of the largest organisations in the Benelux region, Antwerp Aces, have been without a competitive team for some time now. Today though they have unveiled the latest batch of Belgians to fly the Aces flag.

In the past there have been few teams capable of challenging the elite European sides, however they will be hoping to change that with their latest batch of recruits. The all Belgian lineup features some well known and highly rated faces in the Benelux scene, including the likes of Arne “FMz” Van Den Haute, Ilja “iD” Dejonghe and Olivier “EFFECT” De Wolf. Also linking up with the team will be Wout “FRNND” Vanwiele and Christophe “ vekS” Nardelli.

Now they have joined Aces the team will be managed by the hugely experienced Vincent 'Freekje' Vanloo, a player who has been in and around the Benelux scene for many years. They have been together for a while now and are looking to strut their stuff at various regional LAN events in future, whilst they have also applied for a spot in this years ESWC event in Paris.

As the flame of the old generation has burned out in the Benelux scene, it was time to look at the young generation that has been dominating the benelux lan scene over the last year. The team, lead by our resident team manager Vincent “Freekje” Vanloo, consists of the best Flemish players and is very motivated to prove that they are capable to compete with the top dogs at events.

Arne “FMz” Van Den Haute also added:

We are very glad to be playing for Antwerp Aces from now on. We’re really excited about the future and plan on attending as many events as possible. The management is amazing and we are convinced we will all be having a good time. The lineup consists of some fairly new and some more expierenced players, so we are really motivated to do well. We want to thank Antwerp Aces for the opportunity and we hope to get some good results for them! :)
