u Need A Reason?
@ Scene news channel

As you can no doubt already tell by the painfully overused pun in the title - there's only so many variations of "Reason" available guys - Reason Gaming have picked themselves up a brand new Danish CS:S team: unu.AiN.

Just a couple of months ago the Danish scene was swept by mass changes as players hustled and rosters shuffled, with everyone looking for a better deal. One of the teams hit by the changes was XAYA Gaming, also known as Awesome is Nothing, arguably the best team in the country after a number of high placings at hotly contested LAN events. With most of the team choosing to go their separate ways there was nobody left to truly challenge the dominance of the other big name Danish side, CKRAS.

In the following weeks and months there were rumours galore surrounding the former XAYA Gaming players, with most pointing towards a part reform. Alas that's exactly what they chose to do as Nicolai "hunden" Petersen and Magnus "JOKERN" Barthel teamed up once more. The teams next pick-up was long time friend of Nicolai and his former teammate Morten "frozt" Frost whilst they also managed to secure the services of the hottest prospect in Danish CS:S at the moment, Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander.

The fifth and final member was former Fragmasters Toxic AWP Kevin 'kev1n' Hansen, a player who hasn't featured in an all-Danish lineup in some time. After finishing second in the i-series qualifier many expected them to be at the event and providing a stern test for the teams in attendance, their lack of an organisation however proved a stumbling block and they had to pass up the opportunity. That shouldn't prove a factor in future as they have now joined up with Reason Gaming, an organisation who have been without a team since their previous Danish squad was removed earlier in the year.

Kevin "kev1n" Hansen said the following to Reason-Gaming:

So things have been thought through, things have been worked on, and now we see ourselves being taken in by Reason-Gaming. We are very happy being picked up by an organisation of this calibre, that will let us do what we do best. We have a few LAN events coming up this and next month, and we're in it to win it. We're looking forward to playing under the Reason tag, and it is certainly a dream come true. Last i'd like to thank Razer for making this possible, see you all out there!?

The team will be attending the One Night in Copenhagen Lan this month, as well as G4l, Slap and ESWC (invite pending) in October.

Reason Gaming are now:

Kevin "kev1n" Hansen
Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander
Morten "frozt" Frost

Frederik "realition" Byskov (Team Manager)
