A Speedy Pickup
@ Scene news channel

SpeedGaming has become one of the most well known organisations in Denmark thanks to the successes of some of their previous squads. After a short break they have returned to the competitive CS:S scene and acquired themselves yet another team with the potential to do well.

The Danish scene has been saturated with talent for a number of years now yet with many of the players lacking in experience it's been difficult for them to achieve consistently good results over a long period of time. The few 'old heads' in the scene tend to stick to the same groups and it's rare we see the new and old mix together, in recent months though that's began to change as teams finally realise that it takes a little bit of both to challenge the very best teams in Europe.

One team who seem to have got the balance of experience and talent right is NoName.. Yet, and after talks with a number of organisations they've finally found themselves a place that they can call home: SpeedGaming. The team see's once much feared RL:R, h2k, MYM, Magnitude and ROCCAT trio Danni 'rytme' Hansen, Martin 'orga' Hansen and Troels 'eXce' Kierulff reunited for the first time in over a year. Joining them is one of the brightest talents in the country, Nicolai ”device” Reedtz as well as Mr 7/8th Casper ”ruggah” Due.

The team will be attending the up coming ONIC LAN as well as participating in the Gaming.dk league - details of which will be published soon. We can also see them in action at SLAP Live later this year as they aim to dethrone CKRAS from the top of the pile.

Casper "ruggah" Due said the following to Gaming.dk:

I am happy and proud to say we are from today representing SpeedGaming. We are super excited to have been given this opportunity and look forward to flying the SpeedGaming flag for future events.

Malte (Herden), has had to take a step back for the time being as his work does not allow him to dedicate the necessary time to play CS:S, we are very sad because he is good friend of everyone on the team. Malte will serve as the sixth man and perhaps we'll get the chance to see him in the starting 5 at some point in Gaming.dk's league.

When you lose a player, one must logically find a new one. We have therefore chosen Troels 'eXce' Kierulff as a new part of our team. Troels has incredible experience and is super keen to show the world he is back-to-good. We are pleased to have attracted a player of Troels' caliber and look forward to playing with him.

You get a first look at us in the ONIC and GDK-league, where we will attend our first official tournament as Team SpeedGaming.

I will say thanks again to Anders and SpeedGaming, for giving us a chance to show our worth.

SpeedGaming are:

Casper ”ruggah” Due
Nicolai ”device” Reedz
Danni ”rytme” Hansen
Martin ”orga” Hansen
Troels ”eXce” Kierulff

Malthe ”Herden” Boelt - 6th
