After disarray in the Finish Counter-Strike Source scene over the last couple of days, I bring you an exclusive interview from Adam, the manager of new team neon.

Hi Adam, first off, can you introduce yourself for us?

Hey, I’m Adam "ALIG" Pannett, I currently manage the newly formed team Neon.

So tell us how you got to form a neon css team, and what position you play in the organisation.

I currently organise and inform the team of current leagues, sponsors we are currently unsponsored. The name neon is derived from an old-school Finnish 1.6 team which was founded in 2001, who’s owners are still keeping the name alive today, and they decided to let us become their new CSS Team.

So who is in this new roster, and what caused these 5 players to come together in neon?

We currently have a stable 5 man roster, made up of 3 AfterLife players, 1 Everfrost player and 1 Dtekt player. The team was formed mainly from AfterLife players, this was because the AfterLife roster was very unstable, and after Outcider quit CSS, the core 3 AfterLife players (Sprada, Nani and delonge) decided to set out on their own. Deeq-, being from the recently folded Everfrost, was contacted by delonge recently, about creating a team. Having close connections with the Everfrost team, Deeq- knows the current line-up like the back of his hand, after being in a clan with delonge on numerous occasions. With the pickup of ex-dtekt player cisU whose ex-clan came close 4th after losing to AfterLife in overtime at Lahti Lan adds the final ingredient to this skilled roster.

What competitions do you plan to enter in the near future, and how well do you hope to do in them?

We are currently competing in CAL-M, and are hoping to attend every major Finnish LAN. After an interesting run last season in theSGL, we are also hoping to compete in that, doing even better than AfterLife did last season (a tough target to set so early on). Other leagues we will be thinking of entering include GBGL, CCSSL and HTGN, in which all we hope to have at least some success.

Well I've been playing with Sprada and Nani for a long time now, things didn't work out quite well in AfterLife but now we are back with 2 new players and we will be dominating in different leagues soon enough.
