eSahara has been one of the major players in France for some time now, seeing some of the countries best 1.6 players come and go over the past year. Today they unveil their first ever CS:S team, cotch.

This will be the organisations first tentative steps into a scene that is considered by many to be enjoying a growth spurt. It's also the latest in a long line of organisations to give CS:S some attention following many years of neglect. After a disappointing performance in the ESWC Online Qualifier the team announced that they would be making some much needed changes to the lineup as they sought to plug the hole that had been left from the departure of Kevin 'kev1n' Hansen. In came Lasse 'stingeR' Midstue and out went the newest recruit Tom 'url' Chenery, a decision that many people saw coming following defeats to both Infused and LiNK Gaming - two teams they really should be beating.

When that announcement was made the team hinted that they had found a new home that could offer them the support they needed to continue improving and that home is eSahara. Although the ESWC now seems to be off the cards the team will be practicing hard for Novembers i44 CS:S tournament which is once again expected to attract numerous high quality teams. Whether they can return to winning ways at the event remains to be seen but one thing is for sure, they can't pin the blame on lack of support.

After spending months trying to find a suitable home, today we are welcomed into eSahara. After speaking to the management of the organisation and laying out our goals we feel we have a very bright future ahead of us. Our old team has seen a slight change as Tom "url" Chenery gives way to Lasse "stingeR" Midtstue, which will make our team even stronger. Our next LAN will be the I44 LAN in Telford in the UK where I hope we will have some good competition to prove that our young team is full of talent.
