With Denmark's widely considered number one not in attendance at this event the stage was set for the rest of the Danish teams to show what they were able to do. Many had Reason Gaming flagged for the gold however things haven't gone as expected.

From the very first round of the tournament things were looking a bit off balance in Copenhagen, with both SpeedGaming and the Copenhagen Wolves dropping their first game to lower seeded teams, leaving them in lower bracket. Reason Gaming found themselves off to a good start until they also fell victim to the shock story of the event, Gaming4Life. They went on to suffer a narrow loss to one of their major rivals at the event, Speed Gaming, leaving them in 5/6th place.

Having the CKRAS star Bo 'wantz' Vestergaard standing in for the G4L side seemed to bring the team into their element, as they began dropping teams that they should've lost too left, right and center. Even though Bo was doing a lot of the leg work for the team, they complimented him well and took the gold medal with what appeared to be relative ease.

Unsurprisingly Team DSRack bombed out of the tournament as many expcted they would, even losing their lower bracket game to eventual second place finishers Copenhagen Wolves without winning a single round, and with accusations of being "onliners" looming in the air, DSRack better start bucking their ideas up before they land in Paris for the ESWC.
