FullyTorqued Change One
@ Scene news channel

After tasting success at the ESEA finals FullyTorqued have made some changes to their lineup.

Teams in this game just can't stay together, when they lose someone is blamed and removed, when they win the merc who performed well replaces one of the core members.. The latest team to taste success in the American scene is FullyTorqued who, after losing out to Team Dynamic in the early stages of the ESEA Invite finals the team earned a rematch in the grand final, a rematch which they won pretty convincingly, picking up four straight maps over their shell-shocked Canadian opponents. Key to the teams success was stand-in Neil 'montE' Montgomery who worked the hybrid AWP/rifle role to perfection.

It seems that his performance - which is likely to net him our MVP award - was enough to earn a spot in the team on a full time basis, which includes a trip to Paris for the ESWC should the team get the funding to fly out. The man making way for Neil will be Marlin 'marlin' Thai who will be unable to commit enough time to practice for what will be the teams biggest event next month. As mentioned previously they are on the looking for an organisation which can send them to the ESWC, something which would only benefit the quality of the tournament.

Josh 'steel' Nissan said the following to Cadred.org:

We were considering bringing in a fresh face for our team for a few weeks now in preparartion for ESWC. Our main options were to be Neil "montE" Montgomery, Ryan "ry9n" Romba, and Marlin "marlin-_-" Thai. Basically, Marlin was on the roster the entire time and he was our full time starter, but he has been inactive lately for the duration of the ESEA season following the conclusion of CEVOp s12. In order to be in prime condition for ESWC, we would need to have a full squad of dedicated players putting in the time to have every strat down to a tee.

We needed to be in prime condition to make a dominating presense at the LAN. Ryan has played with all of us before and has been involved with taking down Dynamic on LAN and did well during the ESEAi LAN finals this past weekend, but Neil was exceedingly impressive. Neil opted to use a rifle for most of the rounds even when he had the option to use an awp which makes him a prime hybrid or full-time rifle for any compostion of players that we have on the team. Neil was dominating basically every clutch and single handedly won us many rounds during the LAN which made the decision a little bit easier for us.

I think that once we can get him into a bunch of scrims with DaZeD calling instead of me, we should have a strong system working for us. I was calling the past few weeks of ESEA regular season plus the LAN finals and as much as my calling is similar to DaZeD's, we still tend to do a few things differently. Once we get through the adjustment period, I think we can have a really strong team, even moreso than Very Games as we will have no weak links. I have full confidence in every player on the roster to be able to make big plays, clutches, solo sites, as well as implementing teamwork into their gameplay to make us not only the #1 team in North America, but also the #1 team world wide.

We are on the lookout for an organisation to help us with the costs of attending the ESWC in Paris next month, although we will be able to front most of the money ourselves we will still need around $2,500$ to be able to get our tickets and confirm our attendance which needs to be done within the next 2 days.
