As predicted it was Afterlife again who had to face Insignia Cadre on the grand final of DoD:S. The game was kinda like the previous one on the winner bracket finals, it was pretty much everyones game until Insignia Cadre managed to turn it out for them and in the end won the game with clear numbers. Final result was 4-1 for Insignia Cadre.
After the final both gold and silver medallists - premi from
Insignia Cadre and Rinorragi from
Afterlife were interviewed. Lets see what kind of thoughts did the finalists have!

What turned the game again on the 2nd round?
R: First capture was crucial, because after that we had to try more and it caused the loss of 2nd capture. After the 2nd capture the game was already played, we couldn't do much more than just try to rush desperately.
Do you see the axis side as easier or harder to play on this map?
P: I think that it's quite 50-50. It's just that the center is very hard to get on this map, but it's just as hard as allies than as axis.
R: As axis it's easier to push, but on the other hand as allies it's easier to break. Center flag is the most important part of the map.
You're feelings after the game?
P: We knew that it was going to be a tight game. We wanted to win the first map right away, because we don't really like the map so we wanted to make it fast.
R: The map was ideal for us because it had been going well on our praccs. Of course we were the underdogs for the game, but we didn't do that bad. After all it was quite tight game.
What decided the game for cadre?
R: Great individual performances, good teamplay and playing without any stupid mistakes. Specially on the center flag they played much better than we did.
What makes cadre the #1 team in Finland?
P: Everyone got their own very well fitting roles in the team. We got good players for all kind of jobs which makes us a good team. Team play is also very important for us.
Your opinion on weapon limitations in DoD:S?
R: They are working quite well, not much to complain. It limits the game maybe a bit tho, so you can't maybe always play with all the weapons you'd like to.
Who is your ingame leader?
R: We don't have any special ingame leader. On different places we got different guys to do that job. Always that one who is in the middle of events should be giving information to others.
P: Our team usually consists of few smaller teams (usually 3-3 / 2-2-2), which got their own positions to hold in their map and are responsible for the information from those positions.
Is it possible for everyone to become a top player?
R: I think that it's atleast much easier in DoD:S than in many other games, because on DoD:s you need so many kind of guys for different roles. Players with good gamesense and communications are always needed.
How are you going to use the prizemoney?
R: We're firstly going to cover the travelling costs with the money and if there is something left after that, we'll see how we are going to use it then.
P: Money is going to be split depending on the travelling costs and some part of the money goes for the organization too.
