WASM: premi and tufe after their first game
@ Assembly Winter 2007 channel

DoD:S kicked off with a game between RaPa and Insignia Cadre early on the morning. Insignia Cadre managed to win the game 3-1 without any bigger problems besides Deltta's problems with his mouse. premi from Insignia Cadre and tufe from Rangaistus Pataljoona came to share some thoughts after the game.

Your feelings after the game?

P: It started off very well with fast capture, don't know if our opponent was even ready for the game yet. On second round Deltta had some problems with his mouse which resulted in RaPa taking a capture, but we managed to even it up fastly.

T: We had the best european team against us so it wasn't a suprise that we lost. After all it wasn't a total over run by cadre, 1-3 isn't that bad result against them.

How was your preparation for the LAN?

P: Well, we haven't been practicing just for the LAN because we also got some other tournaments running. Our practicing has been bit harder because we got different team for this LAN than what we will have after it. Last week before the LAN we tried to play only with this lineup to get the classes and other stuff sorted out.

T: Normally we don't play that much, but the few weeks before the LAN we tried to practice more.

What do you think about the current condition of finnish DoD:S scene?

T: There could be a lot more teams in Finland. One problem with the game's popularity is that unlike CSS you won't get DoD:S when you buy HL2, so you have to buy it seperate.

P: DoD:S has always been under CS's shade, because they run on the same engine and CS has always been the most popular one. Although there has been some very good players coming to DoD:S from CSS also.

What do you think about professional gaming in DoD:S?

T: It's still all on it's beginning. We don't even have any sponsors, but I guess premi can tell better about it.

P: Our things are going very well as we got great management and sponsors. Anyway gaming is changing to more professional all the time in almost every game. More money and sponsors keep coming in the future.

Where do you see your team in about a year from now on?

P: Half the team has probably changed by then since some guys are going to army this summer and some guys are coming back from there and so on. Hopefully european scene will become more unite, since some teams from big countries would have great potential to be top teams on european level too besides just playing against clans from their own country.

T: We have been playing for almost 4 years already now and I don't see anything stopping us to play the game. Surely we will still be around at that time.
