He is one of the most decorated players in Denmark having won numerous LAN events, with even more podiums to complement the wins. He has played for organisations such as ROCCAT, H2k, MYM, Reason Gaming and XAYA and currently represents Team SpeedGaming alongside some of his old compatriots. He has also featured in our panel for the Cadred Top10 in the past - unsurprisingly the month 5 Danish teams ended up in the top 10...
Just last week he and his team managed to overcome highly rated Danish side Reason Gaming at the One Night In Copenhagen LAN event, sadly though their run would come to an end in the next round of the elimination stage. Although not going to ESWC the team are working hard to get ready for the big Winter LAN events as they look to put their stamp on the European scene once more.
Who do you think is/was the best Danish team of all time and why? - MustThis is a tough one for me personally to answer since it is impossible for me not to be a bit biased, but I am torn between two teams who have both been ranked the best team in Europe. In terms of raw individual skill I would pick MYM any day, but there were this Dutch team around back then, they were really nice players and therefore we chose to let them win at most LANs which secured us a serious amount of second place finishes. :-)
Fact is that MYM is not the most successful Danish team in terms of winning LANs and other tournaments and for that reason alone my answer would be The Imperial. They had promising individuals but the thing that made them special was that they had five like-minded players who were all willing to spend lots of hours in order to become the best team in Europe. A goal they eventually reached.

At first I thought the lack of information and attention from the organisers was a sign of indifference, but I have to say that due to recent events such as news, invites and qualifications I am very optimistic. I think there have been made bad decisions regarding the selection of teams and I would personally have loved to see the best team from every single country in the World if possible and then two additional teams from continents and nations with major CS:S scenes such as North America, South America, France, Germany, the UK and Denmark. From a spectators point of view it will be absolutely amazing to watch a tournament where so many different styles of play will clash and I am looking forward to seeing a lot of epic matches. What are your thoughts on the changes being implemented to CSS? - elektr0
Hmm, I do not have that much to say about the update really since I have not played much lately due to a broken PC. Burst-fire on the Glock seems ruined and apparently now you are able to strafe around with AWP and still make consistently straight shots which I am not even sure is a bug? On a positive note I like the recoil even more now as I feel it is more like CS.Who is the best danish css player in your opinion right now? - pg
I do not think there are one that stands out at the moment, but cajun, gla1ve and wantz are consistently performing on a very, very high level. What would you dreamteam be (both with only Danish and without any Danish players)? - aRc1
It is hard to argue against an International dream team consisting of NBK, Ex6TenZ, RpK, shox and SmithZz-, but if I would have to leave out that line-up I would probably go with Ex6TenZ, shox, RattlesnK, stingeR and cajun. This is not only a dangerous line-up it is also a guarantee for entertainment at LANs with the temper of Ex6TenZ, RattlesnK and cajun.Who do you think the most overrated player is? - aRc1
If I had to pick a Danish dream team based on the form the players are in now I would probably go with FeTiSh, gla1ve, cajun, eXce and orga.
It is hard for me to say because it is such a long time ago since I have seen all the top teams competing versus each other, but I have seen a lot of matches from the ESWC Qualifier and following the recent i-Series LAN I think picking rdl from Beasts can be well justified. I think people did over-rate him and I experienced a minor hype and I do not think he deserves all of it. I know he has played CS and it is clear to see his movement and game-sense is not exactly fully developed yet even though he has a solid aim from time to time.Who do you think the most underrated player is? - aRc1
Mx, mK and Whindanski came to my mind right away and I ended up picking Mx. He has always been a low-profile player and seems to be perfectly comfortable with it. He always delivers solid performances, but has been over-shadowed by the likes of RattlesnK and stingeR.What's the best CS:S match you've ever played in? - aRc1
It has to be our marathon match against fnatic at LAN79 in May 2008. We had seven days of preparation for LAN79 because we recently found out that we were about to play with FeTiSh and jIMMy and we were not even entirely sure that we could get to France due to transportation issues. The day before the LAN we had it sorted and we had a hilarious 18 hour drive to lé land of baguettes. We did not have particularly high expectations for the tournament and all of this combined made the match versus fnatic, an opponent eXce, orga and myself have been struggling with for years at that time, one to remember. XAYA versus mTw at 30P LAN is a contender to the title though, especially considering we were underdogs.

Get shox on their roster. You are an oldschool player, what keeps you playing this game still?. We see alot of players coming back and after 3-4months they retire again, but its not the case for you. - laroche
The thrill of winning games at LAN is indescribable and I will keep on playing for as long as I am able to do so with people I enjoy playing with.If you could pick one of the following from all the teams you've played in, who would it be: - Hk2
1. wantzThe Danish Counter-Strike:Source teams are changing line-ups/folding/creating new teams very much(maybe not at the moment, but recently) comparing for example to another countries and their teams. What is the problem in the Danish CSS scene? What is good in the Danish CSS scene even this kind of things are happening? Give your opinions. - Azta^
2. N4zgu1
3. eXce
4. trumaN
5. inCre
6. FeTiSh
Good question and I think the main problem is that the general mentality of the Danish players is that the grass is greener on the other side which it almost never is. Players are willing to bail long term friends for a tiny step up the CS:S ladder and I think it is absolutely disgusting if I am perfectly honest. If a team have been together for a long time and a standout player has developed into a quality player and are miles ahead of the rest then I think it is OK in order to develop even further, but hopping from team to team every month when losing a pcw is just ridiculous. Another bad thing is the mentality of a lot of young players that belittles the usage of illegal tweaks such as ambient occlusion which is outrageous. Why does the city you live in smell like fish? - aNgeldust
After we had played against Pimp and his buddies in a Cashville Cup his team-mates were saying we needed to relax because he had only been using ambient occlusion and it was the first time had ever used it and it was not a big deal, I mean what the fuck? And I know for a fact that he is not the only one who has been testing such things and it has been admitted by top players including Rejin, but as I did not hear the confessions myself from the other players I will not drop any names. The good thing about the Danish scene is that we have so much talent and combined with the roster changes this is probably why we see so many upsets at all Danish LANs, but if the young guns would stick together and change their mentality towards cheating then we would have even more top teams having success at an international level and people would actually acknowledge the young players.
I hope you are not talking ill about Esbjerg, Kurppa. Esbjerg does not smell like fish, it is the smell of money! Why did EfB drop out of superliga? - aNgeldust
Again a Kurppa question, d. If my team was HJK Helsinki I would definitely not be giving it.What tides you over to CS:S over any other game? - boomblox
I do not have any real interest in other games besides CS:S and Football Manager and I prefer playing CS:S over any other game and when time comes and I am getting too old to make a difference I will go pro in Football Manager. What do you value about the counter strike meta game in general that other games don't have? - boomblox
I have not played a lot of games so I do not have a lot to compare with, but I have always preferred CS and CS:S over games like Call of Duty and Battlefield and the main reason is probably that a lot of LANs have CS:S tournaments instead of CoD/BF, but I also love all the aspects of CS:S including teamplay, aim, flashes and smokes. There are always things to improve and things to develop. Basically when I have time to play I always focus on getting better at CS:S instead of spending time on other games.Lastly, if you had to add one new weapon and one new grenade to CS:GO, what would it be? - boomblox
If it was up to me I would add something that would showcase my creativity, so I would go with a Jihad C4-vest exploding and killing anyone near including the bearer of the vest and I would probably add a grenade making players deaf if they were close to it when exploding.

I have been very privileged since I have played with every single Danish player I would want to and when it comes to foreign players I would go with my brother from the Land of a Thousand Lakes any day (hint: aNGeldusT).Why did you decide to part ways with XAYA Gaming at a time when they were considered the best team in Denmark and one of the few sides who could challenge the best in Europe? - Rickeh
Many have been asking this exact question, but the answer is pretty easy for me. I felt we had stalled for quite some time in terms of improving and I was tired of bickering while playing because we had different ideas about how to play. I agree it may have seemed as a strange decision, but people often forget that it is not all about the current results it is also about developing and always trying to improve your game. I felt the team needed young blood who had the same idea of how to play like the rest of the team which is why I suggested socN and after we parted ways they seemed rather satisfied with how he supplemented the team so I guess both parties were equally happy with my decision which is great.Do you believe that your current team will ever manage to put the time and effort in to get back to their best? Or will it be another short-term mix team with players realising it's not really worth the hassle? - Rickeh
It may sound like the usual cliché, but we are definitely in it for the long haul. We talked it through before making the team and we like to say that we are doing it the Virus way and if you know the players on my team you would know that we have always had the mentality that we never do anything if it is not done right. Therefore, even though we are not playing 60 hours per week when there are no upcoming LANs that does not mean that we are not a serious team. What do you think of André Villas-Boas and his appointment as Chelsea manager? Do you think they're just trying to recruit another Mourinho? - Rickeh
No, I think they were well aware of the fact that they did not appoint another Mourinho, because if they did they would be dumber than the average Celtic tosser which is pretty dumb. I think AVB has already proven that he is different in many ways and I think it is obvious that he is a long term solution. Other managers including Mourinho have not dared using the great young talent that Chelsea have, because they felt they needed to start with the 11 biggest names instead of focusing on delivering great results through the season and therefore people do not think that Chelsea actually have a youth academy.
Another thing that seperates AVB from Mourinho is the style of play. They play with a lot more fluidity and creative freedom now and it is easy to see how far they have come already considering the slow pace they are used to play with.
