We happen to think ESWC is a big deal, so much so that both of our editors have decided to release a feature a day until it starts, as well as soliciting outside opinion about the event.

Yes, as well as our playbook series, skilfully handled by Mick McGhee we're also going to run a series about which players you need to keep an eye on from each CS:S team going into the event.

Each one of those will include a biography, details on how they made it to ESWC, why you should be watching them and a comprehensive list of achievements from their careers. Think of it as an "instant expert" guide so you can sound impressive and knowledgeable when following the games with friends.

Anyway, we know that the features box will be taking a worse battering than Jodie Marsh's boyfriend, so this is just a heads up that the first two out of the the eight won't be the be all and end all of our ESWC build-up.
