Now the suprising qualifier week is behind us and the cup admins have made the groups for the upcoming EuroCup season. The tournament will feature 24 clans which have been divided into four groups with six clans in each. Group A features the winners of the previous season, the european Dignitas. It also features a clan which made its way to the EuroCup through the qualifiers, Vicious and Evil. From Group B we can find the new SPEED-LINK who are after their third EuroCup win. This group also features two finnish teams, namely our very own Call of Duty 2 team and Logitech.fi. Team EDiT.benQ came through the qualifiers as they defeated Afterlife on the second day 13-11.

Group C has one team who played in the qualifiers, the belgium team of IRL with a top european team TeK-9 are set up to play in this group and might come out of it as a winner. The most suprising team of the qualifier week are Team Impact and they are playing in Group D with teams such as Serious Gaming, H2K.Qpad and Copenhagen Esport. Serious are the absolute favorites for this group but teams like nEophyte might do some damage on their good day.

Our Call of Duty 2 teams first EuroCup match will be against Team adocom on mp_toujane at Wednesday 11 April 22:00 CET. I talked to limec what was his opinion on the groups and their opponent adocom.

We've been anxiously waiting for the EuroCup XV groups to be announced, and now we are glad to be part of the Group B along with lots of European topteams such as Logitech.fi, TEAM-SPEEDLINK and c4u. The other groups of EuroCup are atleast as tough as our group, consisting the very best teams of Europe. Insignia Cadre's first opponent will be team-adocom, and we are looking forward to an equal and tough match with the german powerhouse.
