After a long wait, the huge team of ((Northern Darkness)) has returned, with an all new Swedish lineup. Picking up the old team of Saint Tropez, Northern Darkness will be looking to compete at the top of the scene like they once did.

Their roster stands as follows :

They recently got into the Clanbase Open Cup Premier League, and will be attending Wonderbase LAN in May. I spoke briefly to XperteN about this move :

IC : Firstly, congratulations on your new home. this is the first time this roster has been in a big multi gaming team, how do you feel about it all?
XperteN : Thanks! Yeah, we were planning on starting up "Saint-Tropez" again, but with the EuroCup season coming up we decided to go back to my old home Northern Darkness in order to have a bigger chance of qualifing. Unforunately, I signed up for the wrong game and the admins lost my cool reason for why we should've been invited although we have no official results. I'm confident we'll perform really good and wont dissapoint all nd-fans.

IC : That kind of leads me onto the next question, how confident are you of filling the boots of the old Northern Darkness team? They are incredibly big boots, with ND being such a dominant team in Europe for so long. Do you feel the new squad is up to the task?
XperteN : Yeah, we're definately confident. We've performed surprisingly well (with a couple of exceptions :p) in practices and beaten alot of the EuroCup invitees. Of course it will be very hard to live up to the "ND-standard", but we'll try for sure.

IC : How will ND be supporting you during your stay with them?
XperteN : We're not actually joining the MGC Northern Darkness - more like re-establishing it. I've been a part of nd for almost 4½ years now and won the EuroCup three times in SOF2, so this is basically my "esport-home". Our old sponsors have probably forgotten all about us by now... :p

IC : Ah, so it will be on your own heads to support LANs and servers until something new comes along? Will you be getting a manager in or will it be down to the players to make those things happen?
XperteN : Basically, yeah. If anyone feels like supporting us with a (good) server (PREF. G-PORTAL.DE, CALL ME!!) contact me on IRC.Same goes for the manager part - if anyone feels up for the task, just contact me. Until then I'll handle it together with the others as much as my real life allows me to.
