i44 To Feature CS:GO
@ Scene news channel

The 1.6 players had a chance to demonstrate CS:GO as a competitive title at IEM New York, now it's the CS:S players' chance, with two of the worlds best teams clashing in a show-match at i44.

The people behind CS:Global Offensive, Valve, have been keen to stay out of the whole 1.6 vs CS:S feud and have been trying hard not to take sides; like the best friend of a couple in the middle of a bitter divorce. Sadly though with both communities it's like being the best friend of a mentally challenged couple arguing over who ate the blue crayon, and no matter what Valve do they will be seen to be taking sides, the poor bastards. Still, it hasn't stopped them from trying to appease everyone.

After letting various professional 1.6 players loose on the game at the IEM New York the feedback was hugely helpful to the developer, and it appears that it's something they'd like to continue doing with their latest announcement. This time looking to the CS:S community and players for advice they have partnered with Multiplay to set up a show-match at the fast approaching i44 tournament, between two of the best teams on the planet and ESWC finalists: VeryGames and CKRAS.

The match will be broadcast directly after the CS:S final - which is likely to feature the same teams - and will be broadcast in HD to the masses of people hoping to catch a glimpse at the game. Stay tuned for more info right here on Cadred.org.
