Eurocup XV : Unofficial CSS Predictions
@ Scene news channel

I was asked to make predictions on the cup, and since it's such a subjective thing, I'd like all readers to take it with a pinch of salt, and remember they're just opinions. So if your team doesn't get picked, or a team you think should've got picked doesn't, please keep all replies mature.

Group A

aAa
4Kings
dignitas
exotic
MGC
mTw

Group A has a lot of good teams, but a few which may be unknown to some people. I can see 4k and Dignitas having an easy ride in this group, but the 3rd place is incredibly hard to predict. With some questionable recent results from aAa and mTw, I would have to give MGC the third place in this group, although it will definitely be close.

Group B

ancients
Copenhagen e-sports
Defeaters
fnatic
n!faculty
multiGamer

This group is undoubtedly the hardest to predict. Again, there are two teams who should be able to qualify reasonably comfortably, fnatic and n!faculty, but the 3rd spot is incredibly hard. With 4 very strong teams, it will all come down to performance on the day. I'm going to predict Defeaters to go through, purely because they seem to be on form at the moment.

Group C

Aux
Check-Six
everfrost
Insignia Cadre Globalcash.fi
WizardsQPAD
xpre

Although this group remains extremely competitive, its one of the only ones im confident with my predictions. Check-Six and Insignia Cadre should get through with little hinderance, and I'm predicting everFrost to take the 3rd qualifying spot. This could be upset by both xpre and Aux of course, but I can't see Wizards doing that much damage.

Group D

Emulate!
h2k
Logitech.fi
Trademark Gamers
Levitation
Reason-Gaming

This final group is a little easier to predict as well. With H2k on form, and Reason Gaming and Logitech both with incredibly strong lineups, this group should be quite straight forward. However, it's always open to upsets, and the other 3 teams also have a good roster, and it will purely come down to performance on the day.
