Cheese with you Whine?
@ Blog channel channel

Eh reg?

Get walls?

WTF no way!!

c u at lan mate!

Why is that in computer gaming so few people can accept defeat? The level of whine is seriously scary these days! Its not getting any better either?!

I joined a server a few days ago, my first game of CSS is about 8 months, bang bang you die, he dies, she dies, while im flashed, total luckshot theatre. Kick + Banned :(

New server and something similiar but through smoke. They get a spectator in instantly lol! Its not just that either. I have what can only be described as a Mongolian type connection and I need to set somewhat low rates. Que a chorus of expletives and overly intimidating gestures implying I should vacate the server!

It's all made me think, who on earth has given such randomers on a public server the right or authority to judge me, or any gamer so quickly. Where is the line on the internet that you shouldn't cross?

The worst whine is always in matches though. Thats where the real corkers come! We all know its hard or say a finish player to "reg" on say a portugese player, due to routing and so on, and it acceptable to expect a neutral server, what we have there is fair play :) Excerpt from IRC today: "(16:34:19)(xxxxx) pcw now / uk 100tick serv on / no german cu*ts". Is that the barrier to which racism comes into gaming? Would the said user be considered to be racist in your eyes? Such semi online racism isn't uncommon on IRC and the net. Lets be honest, none of us are realistically rushing out to play on a Spanish 66tick server! Its embedded in the psychy from whats gone before!

There's a huge push to kick racism out of football, and rightly so. Just one look at what has been directed at the likes of Ashley Cole and Emile Heskey by Slovakian supporters (I think it was anyway?)is enough to make you wonder isn't it. Yet the subliminal racism which is directed at some countrys in europe is surely just as bad isn't it?
