Action Video Games Sharpen Vision 20 Percent
@ Blog channel channel

For example there was an short article that said the game developers are in the same group with the gamers, they do illegal things. That means they are criminals. This idea had already presented to the government but since we haven't got any new information yet. The other main thing is the media. Here in Hungary there was a short documentary film about the online gaming made by an acclaimed reporter. The result was shocking, they tried to explain the elementary thing about the gaming and showed some scene from lan tournaments. They just gave a negative aspect for the gaming and made a bad response. I think not just the Hungarian media see that topic from the bad side or am I wrong? But my article doesn't highlight this, I would like to show you an interesting article released by one of the most received school of New York called Rochester. Do you know that the action games like UT and CSS improve our sharp-sight? If you don't read this short part and check the full article here!

Snippet from the article:

After about a month of near-daily gaming, the Tetris players showed no improvement on the test, but the Unreal Tournament players could tell which way the "T" was pointing much more easily than they had just a month earlier.

"When people play action games, they're changing the brain's pathway responsible for visual processing," says Bavelier. "These games push the human visual system to the limits and the brain adapts to it. That learning carries over into other activities and possibly everyday life."
