Rasta Gaming have picked up a Portuguese side ahead of the XLParty event, taking place this weekend.

Although numerous teams from around Europe have brandished the Rasta Gaming tag the organisation has never offered full support to a foreign team, choosing instead to invest their finances on local talent. However, with the future of the Rasta xD team up in the air the organisation have been quick to find another squad capable of bringing results at national events, starting with the XLParty this weekend. The team have been without a home since being acrimoniously dumped by the Fragmasters organisation in favour of their rivals, formerly known as Online Kingdom.

Considered to be one of the best teams in Portugal they will have a chance at revenge on both the Fragmasters organisation and the new team they support. It's unclear which future events the team will be attending but a win at the XLParty this weekend will no doubt stand them in good stead for the 2012 season under the guidance of Rasta Gaming.

The teams manager Tiago "GotIt?" Castro said the following on the Rasta Gaming website:
