With plenty of time to consider their options mousesports have unveiled the lineup they have tasked with bringing European success in 2012.

It's been a bumpy ride for mousesports since they first revealed that they would be picking up a CS:S team for the first time in their history. Eager to start out small and build on it they picked up a little known ESL Amateur Series team before seeking out some tried and tested EPS players to secure a spot in the premier e-sports league in Germany. Once their spot in the ESL Pro Series was guaranteed they upped the ante once more, bringing in two former Snogard Dragons players - including the MVP for the season - and a former Gamed.DE star to make up the German contingent, they were complimented by the British duo of Sam 'RattlesnK' Gawn and Jim 'mx' Smale.

The combination of players enjoyed instant success and in their first full season together as a team they picked up the German EPS and League Cup double, defeating arch rivals mTw twice along the way. This, it appears did not satisfy the organisations thirst for International success and earlier this month they made the bold move to drop the German players from the team, leaving the two English players to rebuild a squad capable of taking on and beating the best Europe had to offer. Today that squad has been revealed and one glance at the names should be enough to unsettle some of the more experienced European teams.

The two that remained from the EPS winning mousesports side will be joined by former eSahara duo Dan 'Re1ease' Mullan and Lewis 'Hughsy' Hughes, arguably two of the best players Britain has produced in recent memory. The final piece of the puzzle will see former Birmingham Salvo star and CGS winner Pete 'pete' Wright make a shock return to CS:S after a lengthy hiatus. Whether the returning legend will be able to recapture the form that saw him propel Salvo to CGS glory remains to be seen but with plenty of time to prepare for the big events in 2012 the team will be hoping they have what it takes to be the best.
