Personally, I think in a year we will be seeing transfer fees for the top 1.6 players (or CSS players, depending on developments over the next few months). Since most top players are already contracted, the logical next step would be teams buying out contracts of the best players, which would (imo) lead to transfer fees.

I could definitely see fRoD being bought by 3D, method by coL, SpawN by NiP, etc.
