As the title says the guys at callofduty.se have united with QPad to make an online tournament which includes still-to-be-announced prizes. The idea is that one tournament will be held per month and so on. The very first tournament will include 24 clans or 32 if there are more interested people and it will begin on 2nd of January then 3rd and 4th and the finals will be played on 7th day. The first tournament will be a test since there are many other online tournaments going on like EuroCup and OpenCup and we probably won't see that many top teams taking part into this one.

CODQCUP will use Comp PAM v1 pam mode eumr12 in the tournament (/rcon pam_mode eumr12). There will be a pistol bash to decide the starting sides and the team who gets 13 rounds first wins. Every player has to use /record command while playing and in the play-offs the demos must be uploaded.

We see this tournament as a test and for this one we had to think about several other tournaments running at the same time. Speaking of CB EC, OC and NC that is why we have put in it the first week of 2007. We know many teams might not be able to compete but there will be more CODQCUP tournaments for everyone.
