Oh yes, Call of Duty 2 has been picked up for shgOpen LAN games first time ever. Call of Duty 2's pickup announced just few hours after another new-comer Enemy Territory got announced. The event will be held in cooperation with Clanbase to make sure everything will go as planned.
The event itself will take place in Bella center from Friday the 16th to Sunday the 18th of February 2007 in
Copenhagen, Denmark.
The event will be a BYOC event and that might cut off the number of participating teams. There will be room for 2000 players and the prize money is around 65000€ and it will be spread for three games: Counter-Strike 1.6, Call of Duty 2 and Enemy Territory. Call of Duty 2 will get around 5000€ to be shared with the teams and it has been shared as follows:
Tickets will be discounted until 1st of January for ~43€ and after that tickets will cost ~50€.
