The truth behind Team Hollywood Recently the Dignitas CS:Source squad was released by Team Dignitas, and have formed a new organisation called Team Hollywood.

Dignitas released the following statement on the matter :

With regret we must announce the departure from Team Dignitas of our CS:Source squad with immediate effect.

The team joined us earlier this year and they have proved to be a fantastic team and that is why we signed them. The team have had a great year at the limited CS:Source events and they have trained and played hard.

Unfortunately we found that the team's ideas did not work well with how we run our organisation and therefore something had to give. We have decided to release the team due to irreconcilable differences and we wish them every success in their future gaming home.

We will be looking for a new squad to fill the gap but we have not yet fully decided for which game.

I got an exclusive interview with HOLLYWOOD|Head on the matter.

Firstly, could you introduce your squad to the readers, and tell us something about each of them.
My Team got together 11 months ago. Since then merely the 6th player changed from xiu to Marcus. Philipp came from ALTERNATE aTTax, sYrox and ej played for dRagonality, meijin for EPANDOR and i was playing for CSS-Inside. First we were playing for our own label HOLLYWOOD, in April we decided to join Dignitas. In the Game meijin and sYrox are our AWP Players and sYrox and i do the tactics, whereas i am the ingame leader of the team.

You recently parted ways with Team Dignitas. On their website it says "the team's ideas did not work well with how we run our organisation". Could you tell us a little more about that?
Well, Team-Dignitas wants to be a big family and everybody should talk to everyone. For us it was not possible to idle much time in the main Ventrilo and talk to the others, because when we are online we wanted to play. It was not possible that we play with the dignitas Ventrilo because the codec was too high for meijins internet connection.

How will this affect your LAN attendance sponsorship wise? Where are you planning to attend in the next year?
Next weekend we will attend the Dimension6 in Bremen which is the biggest lan of germany. Otherwise there are no other lans planned for the next year. But i think if there will be some big international Events with prizemoney we take part on them.

Are you looking for a new organisation, or is Team Hollywood going to be a long standing thing?
I don't think that Team-Hollywood is a long-term solution for us, because we have no sponsors and we have not talked to any companys yet. At the moment we are talking to some clans and hopefully we find a clan which can support us well.
