The day before yesterday Clanbase announced the teams for this years edition of EuroCup in a traditional two hour show which was shoutcasted by Radio iTG. The clans who got invited are ofcourse good but there were some suprises with the old farts like SPEED-LINK and Dignitas. There will also be changes in the rules, all matches will be prescheduled because this will prevent that the top matches wont be played at the same time. This also leaves time for referees and shoutcasters to prepare better for upcoming matches. But lets take a look at the groups, shall we?

Group A has alot of LAN achievements, there are the winners of the previous EuroCup Serious Gaming with the winners of the eXperience LAN Copenhagen Eports with the runner-up of the same event and winners of the recent Wonderbase LAN Logitech.fi. And there is also the runner-ups of Milk LAN WebOne. Group B hasn't got that much LAN history but there's SPEED-LINK which is hunting its 3rd number one position. Together with the German powerhouse there's H2K which had a facelift recently, so I'm curious to see how they are going to handle it. Group C's strongest team is surely Dignitas with its rivals of the recent Wonderbase LAN event fukyuu and digitalMind. Tek9 will get some hardtime trying to take down upcoming teams like inteRaction or Stheno eSports.
