Inside story of EuroCSS LAN
@ Blog channel channel

Right with the LAN over and many players dissapointed with the organisation of the event. Some of you may not know that Xxhanubis had told the foreign teams (dignitas, Speedlink, n!faculty, among others) that the entire tournament would be finished at 3pm on Sunday. So by trusting Xxhanubis these teams had booked their flights for Sunday afternoon when unless we had played all saturday night, which was originally intended untill Infinity-Gaming learnt they had to be out of the centre before 11pm there was nothing we could do at that point.

When Sunday came, myself and Infinity-Gaming had to act fast to organise the second group stages and make sure that we could get through it as quickly as we could before Speedlink and n!faculty had to go for their flights.

This however was not the case as inevitably we had a few computer problems and the LAN was delayed an hour so while we sorted the problems out, not mine of Infinity-Gamings fault. By roughly 4pm we learnt that some of Reason gamings players and Dignitas had to leave for their flights nearly 2 hours after Speedlink and n!faculty had left. Again there was nothing we could do about it.

Bottom line is this LAN failed as the most competative source LAN to date because of a mis-communication with Xxhanubis. I would personally like to thank Infinity-Gaming MadSpunk and Despy, Reddy, Gom8z, Junks for helping this LAN happen without any pay whatsoever and hopefully another LAN in the future will be organised better.
