theSGL:CSS III applications open
@ Scene news channel

Rob, his admin team and theSGL itself are pleased to announce that sign ups for theSGL:CSS III are now open. Starting in mid November with the obligatory Christmas break the league is scheduled to run for nine weeks with an extra weeks play tagged on the end in the very likely event that there will be some catch up matches to be played.

The map list is due to be released in short order and will be added to the site as soon as decided upon. A poll to choose between two maps in particular will be added shortly – so make sure you have your say in what gets played and what does not. Our recent CUP RUN enabled us to get the servers set up just as they need to be and come match day one they will all be waiting for you to take advantage of as will be a new release of the SGLac which will be made available to teams well in advance of your first matches.

The league format will be four leagues of eight teams in each with the matches played on Wednesday and Thursday evenings with eight thirty and nine thirty being the generally accepted times. As ever all matches will be played on adminned servers with SRCtv available for spectators courtesy of HLTV.org.

There will also be featured matches each week that will be televised by Team Sportscast Network with their usual brand of commentary and laid back humour. Add to this the three radio streams who will also have the option to broadcast these matches and you have the complete package for what promises to be a return to the standards set in our first season.

theSGL:CSS III aims to bring source back on track.
