No one expected GIAL to come up to fourth place. Specially when there was MoD and Team Logitech.fi standing on their way. The road was hard, but GIAL really was the only black horse on this tournament. Beating down two top teams of Europe and only losing to adastra in the consolation final was a show of potential from this young team. lokke from GIAL is here to clear the mist around GIAL and reveal the players and the secrets behind them.

IC: Can you first introduce yourself for the public?

lokke: My name is Marc 'lokke' Halgreen, 18 years old. I started playing Counter-Strike for about 5 years ago, and Counter-Strike:Source for about 6 months ago. My team is known as GIAL, and we just ended as the best placed Danish team at SLKS!

IC: can you introduce your players one by one

Thorkil 'tabztar' Burup: 16 years old, started Source for like 5 months ago. He is the youngest member of the team, buthas a great potential. He will surely influence the international scene in the future.

Mathias 'equation' Bergkvist: Had quite a spotted reputation before this event, but has surely proven himself. He is very valuable to us, because of his insane fragging

Mark 'cassion' Niebling: Actually the only experienced sourceplayer we've got. He joined our ranks 4 weeks ago, but he's really fitting well with the team both in- and outgame. He has actually played for the Danish national team!

Nick 'hooiz' Kristensen: Many people doubts on his abilities, but I see a great future for him. He has some fine talent, and has really shown, here at SLKS, why he's playing with us

IC: You were the black horse of this tournament, taking down teams like MoD and especially Logitech wasn't something to be expected. Whats your magic?

lokke: Well, I really think it's our mood of optimism that has driven us this far. We really focus on believing in ourselves. We knew we had the potential to go this far and we were really prepared for this event

IC: overall are you happy with your 4th place, or did you wanted to get even higher?

lokke: Well, we aimed at first place, no doubts about it. But we've played under a months with this lineup, this is the first sourceevent for 4 of us and we ended as the best Danish team. We are really satisfied!

IC: what are your plans for the future, now when you have showed the potential you have

lokke: Now that there aren't any events in the upcomming future, we focus on staying as the best team in this country. We will keep on practicing and hopefully more LANs will pop up

IC: what do you think overall from the LAN, the organization etc.

lokke: As said before I have nothing to compare with, but the delays have been manageable. The only annoying thing was when they started doing "bingo" in the speakers, while we played Logitech. Luckily they stopped after several complaints. Alot of other activities have been going on, and it's all been great!

IC: any last words?
