This was probably the most difficult of our awards to vote in given the various spells of dominance enjoyed by a variety of players during 2011.

Throughout the course of 2011 we saw Swedes, Americans, Canadians and, more often than not, Koreans sweep the opposition to pick up big event wins and take home big cash prizes. Despite the hard work of the Westerners though it was always going to be one of our Eastern friends who took the title of Starcraft 2 Player of The Year. But which one? Well, the Incredible Miracle star Jung "MVP"Jong Hyun was the name that stood out from the rest, with his success at the start of the year and continued dominance throughout enough to see him crowned our winner.
