An interview with flow from Aeon eSports
@ General coverage channel

Another LAN event took place this weekend, the eXperience in Roskilde, Denmark. For Call of Duty 2 there were Capture the Flag and Search & Destroy competitions. The prizepurse was 4 980 euros for S&D and it was shared as follows: 2 680 euros for cash prizes and 2 300 euros for hardware prizes. Teams who attended were mostly danish and most of the top teams were playing at Crossfire LAN event in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Still two top teams decided to attend this event, refreshed Aeon eSports and Logitech.fi. These two faced each other in the Search & Destroy finals. Team Logitech gave Aeon really hard time but Aeon managed to take the win with a score 15:8.

We caught up with the leader flow and presented few questions to him.

IC: Could you first introduce yourself and your players

flow: My name is Johan Lundberg, live in Stockholm, Sweden where I spend my days infront of my computer together with the flies who infested my kitchen. We got sticky whos from some stupid little curly country close to Holland, dont really know what he does during the days but lets just say he has TOO many tacnades. From this country we also brought MAXXUR whos not doing anything but beeing emo, and since we dont care about why he is emo it just gets worse. Then we got frijec the daily 24pack beer drinking bastard of Denmark. Last and probably least we got jul from the third world country Germany, must be since he never gets lower then 90 ping.

IC: How was the LAN overall in Experience?

flow: Well actually it was pretty good, they had some technical problems but managed to get back on schedule pretty nicely. It was danish tv, proper shoutcasts, livestreams and a good overall atmosphere so i'm actually really satisfied.

IC: You came to finals as underdogs and still got nice result over logitech, whats the magic behind that?

flow: Well actually everyone just did a really good job, we believed we could do it and just trusted ourselves. We went down in the loserbracket to start with cuz we went to to mcdonalds when the first brackets was beeing played and got a forfeit loss. We scrambled back up tho and against Logitech all effort we put in on training simply paid off. Really great job from everyone.

IC: Any plans for the future with your team?

flow Well we are planning on going on the next upcoming event whatever it might be, keep on practicing hard and hopefully we will achieve more victories since this fealing is something we all want to have again.

IC: Thanks for the interview, any last shoutouts?

flow: Yeah, since we beat this multisupersponsored team all u intels and nvidias out there know where to find us, seriously tho, props to sarabande for arranging this lan.
