Epsilon have picked up their second event win in a month after defeating Copenhagen Wolves in the final of One Night In Copenhagen.

In the first round of matches the much fancied Shark Gaming mix were outclassed and outplayed by a resolute and ambitious Blight Gaming, relegating the big name side to the lower bracket where they'd soon find themselves in an even worse situation.. Indeed it proved to be a disappointing event for a team hoping to become one of the best in Denmark once more as their second match saw them eliminated from the competition by Zero Empathy in last place, not a great start.

On the other end of the spectrum Epsilon and Copenhagen Wolves, the two teams now considered the best in the country, made their way into the semi final without any problems and Epsilon followed it up with another solid 2-0 win over DSRack to secure a spot in the upper bracket final. Joining them there would, rather surprisingly, be Blight Gaming who took their second scalp in the form of Copenhagen Wolves with a comprehensive 2-0 victory. Once there Epsilon made light work of their young rivals and before long the side were facing a rematch with the Wolves, who by this point were hungry for revenge.

After winning their match CPH Wolves joined Epsilon in the grand final in what would be a replay of the HKLAN final contested just under a month ago. At that event it was the Wolves who came from the lower bracket and Epsilon who, after losing the first map, took the one map needed to win the tournament. Last night was an almost mirror of that event but on de_train Nico and his troops fought hard but couldn't do enough to force a second map, losing 16-13 overall. It's clear that Epsilon are in the ascendancy and with another Danish event just around the corner - this time featuring every major team on earth - they will be hoping to continue their great run on home soil.
