The Twisted Play Invite CS:S League is now about to start, and I did some research before the kickoff! The league selected 10 of the absolute best teams in Europe, and invited them to compete in the league, and to win the 1st prize at 500 euro's. The invited teams consists of 5 from Western-Europe and 5 from Eastern-Europe/Scandinavia and is as following: Insignia Cadre zEx fatcap o2 syc Gaming LanFan Dignitas n!faculty riZe inspire Gaming At first, Zboard and Northern Darkness was invited before o2 and riZe, but some players going to vacation etc. made them to leave the league, and o2 and riZe will replace them. In the first round, the matches will be played at best of 3 maps, de_dust2, de_inferno and de_train. The league will kick off with a big match, as our own Insignia Cadre plays zEx. You are about to kick off the Twisted Play league at sunday versus team zEx, do you feel well prepared before the match? Jonssen: Well, actually we haven't prepared well to that match. But I feel good and we'll do our best! :) joe: I know that zEx will be bootcamping this weekend, what do you think about them doing this, and you haven't prepared as much as you maybe could? Jonssen: Well ofcourse it will help them, but I think we have much more experience and we know what do we have to do, so I think we will win this. joe: What do you think of the idea behind the whole Twisted Play League, and what do you think of the prizemoney? Jonssen: Well it seems like a great league and prizemoney is very good for being an internet tournament! Maybe the crew should add some more clans and it would be perfect. joe: Okey! What was your reaction when you received the news regarding Zboard falling out of the TwistedPlay league, and the league crew wanted you to fill in their spot? krogh: Well, back then we, SLAP at that time, would have participated in the league, but unfortunately, our schedule didn't allow it. I really wanted to play, so when we got the offer in riZe, I was thrilled, and really wanted to play. Luckely (for me :D), the other guys liked the idea too! :) joe: What do you think about your first opponent, inspire Gaming, and now that one player from your team, cozman has announced his retirement, do you feel well prepared for the match? krogh: I really dont know inspire that well, except that they pretty sure are a major good team, cause of being in the invite league :p - We have known for some time that coz went inactive, so we had some time preparing a new player for it, and so we did. It will be announced pretty soon, I'm quite sure :). FeTiSh: In my opinion, cadre, zEx and n!faculty is just that bit better than the rest of the teams out there.
