Following our publication of a rumour that had been circulating for some time and surfacing on cmconair.de as looking likely. Since then SK Gaming's star player Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund has stated that rumours are all they are.
In a report on HLTV.org, who wrongly attribute Cadred as the source of the rumour, they make it clear that whatever is happening with the team they won't be making a CS:GO team any time soon.
Although there is no direct quote Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund the report also said that the player has somehow proven a CS:GO team is not on the cards. This would come as a direct contradiction to other sources who report playing CS:GO at tournaments is mentioned in their player contracts.
While the rumour of the team was always an unlikely and fantastical one, speculation is still rife as to what the two star players in SK Gaming who have embraced CS:GO will be doing, the implication being that some of the other senior members of SK Gaming might not make the switch should the game become the FPS of choice for big tournaments.
For now it seems that this report serves only two purposes - first to placate the organisation and fans by clarifying nothing will be happening any time soon and secondly to stir up some more negative sentiment aimed towards our website with a skewed report of the facts.
If there are any other further developments naturally you will be able to read about them on Cadred.
