Moscow 5 are defeated, CLG.eu are the dominant force. They showed some true class and the grand final also showed they're not a one man team but a team of 5 members. It wasn't Froggen who carried but it was the whole team who deserved the gold.
Dreamhack started of very well for CLG.eu. They managed to win the BYOC-qualifiers and topped their group, winning one of the biggest throws/comebacks in LoL history against Moscow 5. The latter probably hoped this was only a fluke and got the chance to set it all straight in the grnad final where they were up against CLG.eu for the 2nd time at an offline stage. Their hopes were in vain as it was CLG.eu who pulled out the victory in 2 epic games. Moscow 5 didn't have the same dominance since IEM Hannover and the only team to really deny them from that was CLG.eu.
Despite their "bad" performance at MLG Anaheim they turned it around and won their first offline event in style. They'll be flying to Korea to gel even more, what ever happens, they'll certainly be a contender for the season 2 title.
Here are the final standings:
- $ 15.000 And Laptops
- $ 10.000 And MSI Graphic Cards
