In a bit to garner interest and reignite the CS:S fire in the hearts of fans around Europe, French organization 3DMAX have decided to throw some interesting show-matches.

It's not very often that CS:S has organized show matches, which makes the ensemble of teams featured in this set of show matches all-the-more impressive. The concept is to hold one match per month, a best of three between two of the best teams in the world. Which teams would be up to the spectators, as a public vote will be opened for every month meaning the spectators will be able to decide who they will be watching.

What makes these show matches stand out from, for example, their StarCraft 2 siblings, is that there's something in the matches for everyone. The teams will have a chance to showcase their skills as well as fight for the € 100 winner prizemoney in a best of 3, the viewers will not only be able to choose their favorite teams and be entertained by the matches, but during every match € 120 worth of games will be distributed amongst the viewers of the event, courtesy of Gaming-Store.net.

In order to make watching the games even more of a pleasure 3DMAX have made sure the games will be streamed in the capable hands of our Danish friends over at GameCast where Niels 'RizC' Topp will be joined by none other than mTw and Fully Torqued player Josh 'Steel' Nissan to cast and commentate all the matches for the European public. Although there will be no SourceTV available these two should make watching the stream more than enjoyable.

As for the voting, you can go to the 3DMAX Facebook page to vote for your favorite competitors. The voting for the first match will start tonight and finish on Sunday, July 1st. After that the match will be played according to the availability of each team.
