The well known HomeStory Cup, organized once again by Dennis "TaKe" Gehlen, has returned. The highly unorthodox event, which usually hosts a variety of top players from all over the world, is only 1 week shy of kicking off on the 5th of July, and as such over half of the players are now confirmed.

Why is the HomeStory Cup so extraordinary? For Cadred it's for 2 reasons: firstly, it will be the first event which we will cover ON SITE for purely StarCraft 2, a novelty for us which we are very excited about. Secondly it's a tournament hosted inside the organizers apartment. That's right, 32 players from all over the world travel down to the (little) town that is Krefeld to play in Dennis "TaKe" Gehlen's own house for a prize pot which is usually right around $20,000.

Because of the somewhat abnormal playing conditions the tournament is almost always characterized by a very relaxed atmosphere, last time around players competed in a poker tournament which was sponsored by PokerStrategy, as well as casting games themselves which included hilarious casting by MC and MKP, trying their best to make an understandable cast even with their somewhat limited vocabularies.

As said, Cadred will be on site to bring you all the coverage directly as it happens, which will include player interviews, video content and match reports. Get ready because from the 5th to the 8th Dennis "TaKe" Gehlen and Cadred will bring e-Sports right to your home!
